CEO leads Bilfinger Norway from Herøya Industrial Park

Investing in Apprentices
Developing the skilled workforce of the future is a key part of Bilfinger's strategy.
Drawing on many years of experience in the industrial sector, Johan Guldbjørnsen is passionate about competence development and recruitment. He highlights the importance of passing on specialist expertise to future generations through apprenticeship programmes and practical, hands-on training.
"Technical expertise is built not only in the classroom, but also in the workplace. Apprentices are an important investment for us," says Guldbjørnsen. "Helping to develop the next generation of skilled professionals is also an important contribution to society."

The company provides services covering the entire asset lifecycle, from early-stage concept development through to construction and the subsequent maintenance of industrial facilities. This includes engineering design, project management and execution, maintenance services, workshop services, mechanical work, piping, technical support and the modernisation of industrial plants.
