The new warehouse, Building 334 currently under construction, will have a gross floor area of 1,500 m² and will include both heated and unheated zones.
"The facility will be ready for use once the necessary infrastructure is in place, including electricity, telecoms and water/sewage. In addition, modular units will be set up to provide office and changing facilities," says Skjalg Aasland, Manager Marketing and Business Development at Herøya Industripark AS.
The warehouse tent is supplied by O.B. Wiik, and the first tenant to move in will be Vianode.

Part of a larger project
The construction of the warehouse tent is linked to an extensive refurbishment project in Building 125. Vianode has previously used warehouse space there, but the premises are now being vacated for a new tenant.
"Building 334 will serve as a temporary warehouse for Vianode until we, together with the company, identify a more permanent storage solution within a building," says Skjalg Aasland.
