Nemko Norlab AS serves customers from industry, and from private and public enterprises in Scandinavia.
The Porsgrunn department works primarily on inorganic analytical chemistry for characterisation of materials, element determination and method development/special analysis. In addition to laboratories for sampling and preparative techniques, they have laboratories equipped with:
- X-ray fluorescence spectrometry XRF
- X-ray diffraction XRD
- Scanning electron microscope with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer SEM-EDS
- Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry ICP-OES
- Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ICP-MS, both DRC ICP-MS and SF ICP-MS.
